  • No. The term “Russian manicure” refers to the technique and training, not the nationality of the technician. Nail artists around the world learn this method through professional education and practice. What matters is proper technique, hygiene and attention to detail.

    Many salons charge extra for rubber base. At Glam & Go we include it as part of our Russian gel manicures because we believe proper nail preparation and strengthening should be part of the service, not an additional charge.

  • Nail extensions add length and structure to the natural nail using materials such as gel, acrylic or polygel. They can be created using nail tips or sculpted directly using forms.

    At Glam & Go we offer both acrylic and gel extensions, although we often recommend gel extensions because they tend to feel lighter, look more natural and provide flexible strength for everyday wear.

    Extensions can be shaped in many styles including square, almond, oval or coffin depending on personal preference and nail structure.

  • When gel or nail extensions have been applied at another salon, we cannot guarantee the products or techniques used. Removal can take additional time and care depending on the material and the condition of the nails. For this reason, removals are charged separately if the previous manicure was not done at Glam & Go.

    A refill (or infill) is done when the natural nail grows out and the gap near the cuticle needs to be rebalanced. The existing structure is maintained while the new growth is filled and reshaped.

    At Glam & Go we perform refills only on work done in our salon, typically within 2–3 weeks. After that period the nail structure usually needs to be refreshed with a new manicure to ensure proper balance, durability and nail health.

  • We stand behind the quality of our work. If your manicure chips, lifts or gets scratched within 7 days of your appointment, please contact us and we will happily repair the affected nail at no charge.

    After the first week, normal wear can occur depending on lifestyle, nail condition and aftercare. Individual nail repairs are available for AED 15 per nail.

    If the manicure is more than 3 weeks old, the structure and growth of the natural nail usually require a full new manicure rather than a repair.
